FSA/Insurance: If you have a health plan through a job, you can use a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Spending Account (HSA) to pay for acupuncture.
San Diego Mobile Acupuncture does not bill health insurance companies. Please be prepared to pay out of pocket when scheduling your appointment for each acupuncture session. A special receipt called a “superbill” can be e-mailed to you on request for you to print and submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement.
How ‘No Insurance’ Works
Rates are based off of your provider’s time spent travelling to you and helping you with your evaluation and care, wherever you are.
We offer superbills on request after your appointment is complete to get partial payments reimbursed from your out-of-network insurance benefits.
Rates are based on amount of time spent for each services received. Some services are covered under different insurance policies, while others are not; every plan is different. Call your insurance company to ask about their rates.
