Dr. Stephanie Young DAOM has over ten years of healthcare experience and has helped thousands of patients naturally without the use of surgery or medication, since 2004. She was exposed to acupuncture when she suffered from autoimmune disorder in her early twenties and wanted a more natural approach to medical care that was effective and did not have the side effects of conventional medicine. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine changed her life so much that she decided to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Young, has traveled to Chengdu, China to study and train at one of the largest Chinese Medical hospitals in the world. Her professional internship experience includes rotations in Gynecology, Internal Medicine, and Orthopedics. While maintaining a private practice in Downtown San Diego, she has also worked alongside San Diego’s top NEAT specialist, Dr. Roya Nikzad, DAOM, at the La Jolla Acupuncture and Allergy Center. She was the sole “Acupuncturist at Sea” on board of one of the world’s largest cruise ships, the Princess Sapphire and has practiced at various acupuncture clinics across San Diego county.
Dr. Stephanie Young DAOM became a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) and attended the world’s first four day Integrative Fertility Symposium in Vancouver, Canada where she further studied how to optimize fertility naturally, support IVF, and improve live birth outcomes from TCM Experts, Naturopaths, Functional Medicine Specialists and Reproductive Endocrinologists & Urologists.
In 2016 she transitioned her practice from a clinic setting to a full time MOBILE practice so that she could better service the city of San Diego by traveling to her patients. She is the only acupuncture physician in San Diego to have a full time MOBILE acupuncture practice.
